Podcast

  • Will resume regularly in December 2025 once Billy and I have officially moved to Hawaii !!!

Pretty in Person FAQ:

The Tea

Q: What's this Substack about?
Myself + this and that.

Q: Is this your diary?
No, but it’s the closest you’re gonna get babe.

Q: Is everything here true?
Of course. Except for the parts I made up. Which are also true.

Q: Do you see a therapist?
It’s complicated.

Q: Are you okay?
No.

Q: Are you actually pretty in person?
Yes.

Q: Why do you write like this?
Because it’s complicated with my therapist.

Q: Is your husband okay with this?
He subscribes but is bad at reading.

Subscription & Access

Q: How do I subscribe?
Click “Subscribe”, enter your email, and you’re in. That’s it. Welcome aboard.

Q: Is there a free version?
Yep! Free subscribers get access to select posts, previews, and live video moments. But if you want the full experience (aka, the good stuff), consider upgrading.

Q: How do I upgrade to a paid subscription?
Click “Subscribe” (or “Upgrade” if you’re already a free subscriber), select the paid option, and follow the prompts. VIP status unlocked.

Q: How do I downgrade to free?
If you need to switch back to free, go to Settings in your Substack account, find your subscription, and click “Manage” → “Cancel” or “Downgrade.” You’ll still have access to paid posts until the end of your billing cycle. I’ll miss you, but I get it.

Q: Can I gift a subscription?
Yes! Substack has a “Gift a Subscription” option, perfect for forcing good taste onto your friends.

Q: Can I cancel anytime?
Yep. But don’t.

Podcast & Listening

Q: Can I listen to your podcast in my podcast app?
Yes! If you're a paid subscriber, you can add the private podcast feed to your favorite app. Go to Substack → Settings → Podcast Feed, copy the link, and paste it into your app.

Or just click “Listen in podcast app” under the podcast widget in your email or on my Substack page. Once it’s set up, new episodes will show up automatically.

Since this is a private feed, you won’t find Pretty in Person by searching in your podcast app. It has to be connected through Substack since it’s exclusive to paying subscribers.

Interacting & Feedback

Q: Can I submit a question for the podcast?
Yes! Ask us literally anything. We’ll pick a few submissions each week for the podcast. It’s 100% anonymous, so go off, say what’s on your mind. Submit your question here or email dearprettyinperson@gmail.com.

Q: Can I send anonymous feedback?

Yes! Leave anonymous feedback → here

Technical Stuff

Q: How do I update my payment info or manage my subscription?
Go to your profile in Substack, click Settings, and scroll down to manage your subscription details.

Q: I signed up, but I’m not getting emails—help!
Check your spam folder. If it’s not there, mark my emails as “Not Spam” and add my Substack email to your contacts. If that doesn’t work, Substack Support (support@substackinc.com) is your best bet.

Q: What if I’m having technical issues with payments or access?
Same as above—contact Substack Support at support@substackinc.com. They are the true wizards behind the scenes.
